David Roberts


David has 30 years experience in UK Commercial property. Over that period he has been responsible for over 40 shopping centre purchases. Prior to setting up Edinburgh House in 2001, David Roberts had been Chief Executive of Bourne End Properties plc. David as majority shareholder plays an active daily role in EH and Estama. To date David Roberts has been responsible for over £3 billion of transactions.


Tony Quayle

Managing Director

Tony has overall responsibility for the operation of the Group and its affiliates. A professional Civil Engineer, Tony was formerly UK Head of Construction for retailer BAA McArthur/Glen, overseeing the design and delivery of its Designer Outlet Villages throughout the UK. During that time he oversaw an annual development budget of £350 million and delivered over 1 million sq ft of retail space. In 1998, he became Development Director at Bourne End Properties Plc with responsibility for development projects across its UK portfolio. In 2001 he co-founded Edinburgh House Estates with David Roberts. He spearheaded Edinburgh House Estates’ acquisitions program in Germany from 2004 onwards, building a portfolio in excess of €1bn which he continues to oversee. In 2005, David and Tony founded Estama GmbH as Principal.

Bobby Sheehan


A former Commercial Property Banker with 9 years previous experience operating in the UK and European Senior debt Market Bobby has been directly involved in over £2 bn of transactions across all sectors of Commercial Real Estate. Bobby was based in Prague in 2005 as a senior member of an initiative to lead a research team which ultimately led to the opening of Anglo Irish Banks’ European Loan Book, lending in Germany ,Czech Republic and Poland. Having been one of the lenders to Edinburgh House Bobby joined them in 2010. Bobby is now a Director of the company and is active in all elements of the business with key responsibilities on the finance side of the business as well as coordinating all lenders reporting requirement and sourcing new business expansion opportunities. Bobby also has an active role as a Director of Estama bringing his finance background and experience to the company and its’ clients.

Mike Smith

Chief Financial Officer

Mike joined Edinburgh House in 2016 and is responsible for the group’s finance function, overseeing the day-to-day finance operations. He has more than 11 years’ experience in the property sector, including construction, development, investment and support services. He has been involved in the acquisition and sale of both residential and commercial property and played a significant role in raising debt finance for investment and development purposes. Mike began his career with BDO. He spent 12 years with the firm working with a wide range of business from owner managed SME’s to blue chip international organisations. He qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1999.

Katherine Croom

Head of Asset and Property Management

Katherine Croom has over ten years’ experience working in the retail property sector and is primarily responsible for leading the Management Department to drive value from the shopping centres, as well as ensuring their smooth running on a day-to-day basis. Over recent years her success has focussed on repositioning under-managed retail assets into institutional product through strategic redevelopment, leasing, acquisition of third party interests and growth of non-core income. She trained at CBRE in development and agency, before moving into Fund Management with Henderson Global Investors where she worked on the Pan European Retail Fund. Katherine’s team of experienced Senior Asset and Property Managers have exceptional retailer contacts and expertise in shopping centres management.
